Here's the latest musical offering from The Strumbrellas; we're sure you'll agree a brilliantly catchy tune! If you're a fan, then why not leave a comment in the box below to show your appreciation to the group...
Here's a few words from Strumbrellas member Richard on the song:
'The Umbrella of Hope is our third original song-its part three of what we're calling our lockdown trilogy. We want this one to be our final offering and looking forward to getting and playing together in person.
The themes for the song are renewal and reflect; looking forward to the changes that spring brings within nature and our sense of hope. We also discussed the positives of focusing on the images of nature springing into life can have on own sense of hope and wellbeing.
The lyrics are from each member of The Strumbrellas, seven in total, so it's a bit longer than our previous tunes. At just over five minutes long it has six solo performers but as you'll hear the harmonies and instrumental backing make for a bigger more immersive sound.
All the music and art work is our own too, truly a collaborative piece of work, we hope you like it.
Cheers, Richard'
