Our food union has updated its opening times. You can now access food support from The Florrie every Friday 10:30-2:30. Become a member of The Florrie Food Union to get access to affordable weekly shops for your household.

When you shop with us you can get 10 items for just £5.00.

Items vary week to week and include fresh food, store cupboard essentials, household items, frozen goods, toiletries, and confectionery.


Members also have access to a range of discount clothing, other household goods, seasonal items, and special offers from time to time.

Membership is open to anyone in Liverpool no matter your circumstances. Limited to one membership per household. To become a member please bring proof of address to The Florrie, 377 Mill Street, L8 4RF.

The Florrie Guitar Online

Learn to play guitar directly from some of the best musicians in Liverpool. Our online guitar class now has over 10 videos from special guest musicians. With songs from She Drew The Gun, The Coral, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Jamie Webster, & many more there is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re learning guitar for the first time or you’re a slightly more experienced played these videos are a great way to expand your abilities. A group who works regularly in Princes Park.

What we do

  • We do tree work including planting and coppicing and we also plant bulbs, shrubs and wildflowers.

  • We have activities such as tree walks, wildlife walks and picnics.

  • We have planted 3000 trees over the last 10 years increasing the biodiversity and wildlife of the park.

  • The Friends also litter pick on a regular and ad hoc basis.
