What online mental health support sessions do we offer?
Upbeat Liverpool can support you to be calm, be creative, be healthy and manage your emotions with lots of free online resources. But you can also choose to sign up to additional online support sessions and activities provided live via Zoom by PSS Wellbeing Centre staff and our partners. These are all free but you'll just need to have a quick chat to our team first to get signed up. Once you're signed up, we'll send you the details you need to log in online.
Anxiety Management (7 Week Course)
This 7 week course helps us to better understand Anxiety and learn positive coping strategies, alongside the support of a group (online).
Together we will explore:
The different ways anxiety can affect people.
The physical symptoms of anxiety and look at what's going on in our bodies when we are anxious or stressed.
The theory of stress and the Fight, Flight and Freeze response.
Breathing and relaxation techniques.
Thinking patterns and challenging negative thoughts.
Rebuilding our confidence.
Goal setting, making positive changes and moving forward.

Collage Capers: Creating Characters with Collage
Over six sessions, learn how to quickly create characters using simple techniques and materials. Suitable for beginners with an emphasis on play, discovery and enjoyment.
All you'll need is a pair of scissors, a pritstick or any kind of regular glue and whatever paper you have to hand: newspaper, paper bags, writing paper, old books you're not going to read again, brown paper, wrapping paper, wallpaper, old Christmas/greetings cards - and plain paper to stick things to.
And for images you can use magazines, catalogues, newspapers.
And you'll need a pen of any kind.
