Anne Simms

Admin support

What’s your background?

I have a long history with the Wellbeing Centres. I started as the administrator for the Avenue Project in the mid-90s. I qualified in community mental health and became a project worker for the Wellbeing Centres until 2019 when I semi-retired. I now work as admin support for all the centres.

What do you do?

My role is to keep the admin systems updated, record new people, deal with queries from the staff team, and support the monitoring systems for the centres. I work two days from home.

What do you love about your role?

What I love about my role is the people I meet, the people I work with, and the satisfaction of being part of something that I know makes a difference in people’s lives.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, socialising, getting out and about, and having breaks away. I have four grandchildren now, so I’m kept very busy! I also enjoy volunteering at Liverpool Clatterbridge Centre for a few hours a week.
