What’s your background?
I qualified as a social worker in 1998 and have had lots of different jobs in social care since then.
What do you do?
I manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the service, making sure we achieve the best outcomes for the people we support and that we continue to provide a high-quality service.

No two days are the same. I do lots of different things like leading the team, keeping our funders updated and managing the budget. I also go to external meetings and manage the buildings.
What do you love about your role?
I love being part of a service that makes a real difference to people when they’re going through tough times in their lives.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy chilling during the week and spending the weekends walking in the countryside or having sleepovers with my gorgeous granddaughter.
