On the 19th December the Peer Support Crafts Group and Green Walks both ventured to the wonderful Speke Hall in Speke to spend a very special morning exploring the grounds.
Owned by the National Trust, this Grade I listed building is definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been already. Go this winter and you’ll spot in the garden grounds a selection of trees that have received a Christmassy makeover from local schools and community organisations.
Here at PSS Wellbeing Centres we were dedicated our own tree to decorate, which the Peer Support Craft Group achieved with a colourful assortment of wooden ornaments.
The two groups paid a visit to the tree and then took a leisurely stroll around the grounds, taking in the fantastic sight of the majestic Tudor house, visiting the Secret Garden and navigating the Garden Maze!
To end the visit everyone enjoyed a hot frothy hot chocolate which went down a treat.
