South Liverpool is a treasure trove for some beautiful green spaces. Whether it is the spacious Sefton Park or the historic Calderstones, there are some truly wonderful trails to explore and enjoy local nature and its wildlife.
The therapeutic benefits of getting outside and walking are tenfold. Here at PSS Wellbeing Centres we know that all too well, which is why we host Green Walks, a fortnightly gathering that invites everyone under our PSS Wellbeing Centre service an opportunity to chat, stroll and enjoy the fresh air and scenic views in a friendly group of walkers.
Green Walks meets biweekly, on a Friday, where the group meets 10.30am to noon, at various South Liverpool locations.
Locations include, but are not limited to, Otterspool Park, Festival Gardens and Greenbank Park. All attendees will need to be able to commute there and back from the chosen destination.
Our Green Walks are leisurely and suitable for beginners and people of any age. Stretch those legs and clear your head, as each Green Walk takes the opportunity to practice a bit of mindfulness, to really connect and benefit from the tranquil surroundings.
If you're under our PSS Wellbeing Centre service and feel like you could benefit from our sunny strolls then please get in touch.
