Let’s Talk Liverpool session is part of the Volunteering for Health project - taking place Thursday 30th October, 2:30pm–4:00pm at Big Life Group, 9 Lydia Ann Street, L1.
This session is designed specifically for volunteers, community members, local residents and service users - and we wanted to share a little more information about why that is: Let’s Talk Liverpool is all about creating a really informal, grassroots space where people can speak openly about their real-life and shared experiences of health and wellbeing in the city - especially those who might not always feel heard or included in the wider conversations.

To make this space feel as safe, supportive, and relaxed as possible, so there will be limited professionals/'perceived officials' in the room; there’ll just be one or two friendly facilitators on hand to guide the conversation where needed — but the session itself is all about hearing directly from those with lived experience.
That said, if you work with any brilliant volunteers, service users, or local community members who you think would have something to say (and we know they will!), we’d love if you could pass this along and encourage them to come - their voices are invaluable to the conversation!
