Scones, muffins, a wide assortment of cakes and, don’t forget, plenty of cups of tea!

On the 13th of May, 1.30pm – 3.30pm, the Dutch Barn drew in a crowd to enjoy a variety of bakes and some melodies performed by our ukulele group Strumbrellas.

The bakes were all homemade by our amazing volunteers and it was all presented on elegant china sets very kindly donated by the PSS Wellbeing Centre volunteers and the community.

It was a glorious sunny day with scones, cream, and jam galore. The Strumbrellas even facilitated a ukulele workshop where participants had a go of strumming up their own songs.

Annie said: “Our Afternoon Tea was certainly a success! We had the most delicious selection of cakes and scones, plus the Strumbrellas were as delightful as ever. Thank you to everyone who attended for the nice, relaxing atmosphere.”
