Radical Retrospectives – Share your stories with Collective Encounters

This summer Collective Encounters are introducing their Radical Retrospectives programme, offering interactive free events where you can lend your voices – and ears!


Access to Advice: Time for Change! Is a free performance that dives into the barriers people in Liverpool face when trying to get the support they need.


From benefits to housing this theatre show will focus on the real and the raw, encouraging open discussion about the everyday challenges residents of Liverpool face.


Performances times are:


Wednesday 25th June, 2 – 4.30pm

Looking Back to Look Forward is giving you the opportunity to share your stories of Liverpool in three immersive, themed sessions.


Saturday 28 June, 3pm-5pm


Unity Theatre, 1 Hope Place, Liverpool L1 9BG


Session theme: gender and sexuality


Lead artists: Joanne Tremarco & Aidan Jolly


Thursday 17 July, 10am-12pm


Make Hamilton, Argyle Street, Birkenhead CH41 6LQ


Session theme: disability, neurodivergence and mental health


Lead artists: Abi Horsfield & Aidan Jolly


This session will include BSL interpretation


Thursday 24 July, 10am-12pm


Metal Liverpool, Tunnel Road, Liverpool L7 6ND


Session theme: race, diaspora and community 


Lead artists: Michelle Richards & Aidan Jolly


Access: 


All venues are wheelchair accessible.
