Hello! Big thanks to Bev and Gill for this weeks gallery.
Bev's been out and about enjoying the spring colours and sunshine.
Meanwhile, Gill has responded to last week's prompt - tell us a story.
My husbands grandad moved to Liverpool after the 1st World War to work on the railway. He worked for the LNWR, LMS then finally BR at Edge Hill so John bought a couple of pieces off Ebay as a reminder. The 127 plate, on the garage, is off a bridge (they're all numbered apparently). He's found out the Great train robbery happened at bridge 127! Ronnie Biggs and Buster Edwards stopped the Mail train over the bridge, then dropped the mail bags, down to the van parked below. He can look at these when he's doing the dishes!
Thanks so much for your photos!
This week's challenge is - Up Close and Small. Do I need to say more? Here are a few of mine..and a couple of swans.
But all photos are welcome and please send them to: wellbeingcentres@pss.org.uk
Thank you Bev😃
Your pics are always so refreshing full of imagination, Bev.
Keep those pics rolling😀
Thank you so much Bev. John loved his Grandad so much, just a lovely
memory for him
That's a great way to remember John's Grandad, the plaques you got , a lovely reminder to his work on the railway. ❤
Gill I love what I see of your kitchen, it looks lovely & bright & fresh
