Hi All.
For those that followed Ian's stage by stage painting "Umbrella", we thought you might like to see the final moment that Ian presented the painting to the Brolly. Here is Ian with his painting outside the Brolly.
PSS's Social Media team wrote this...
Ian is a peer supporter for people using our Wellbeing Centres in Liverpool. He uses his own experience of mental health challenges to support others. Ian’s a very talented artist and runs his own art groups for his peers as a way for people to manage their mental health and wellbeing. This is something he is very passionate about.
Back in September Ian started working on a canvas of the PSS Umbrella Centre as part of our Centenary celebrations. This is a place very close to his heart and somewhere that he wanted to pay homage to in the way that he knows best – through art. Through months of hard work he has created this beautiful masterpiece. We’re pleased to hear it’s been gifted to his friends at ‘the brolly’ and is now hanging in pride of place in the office. Thanks so much Ian, it’s beautiful!
I'm sure we would all agree that's it's a masterpiece. Well done Ian
Thanks Tracy
