Bee Inspired 2

The days have been getting warmer and our bees have been busy making honey ..........

We're putting on a second Bee Keeping Course this Summer. Why not come and be a part of it!

A 6 week course starting on

Friday 15th July 10-30am-12-30pm

There will be a mixture of theory and practical activity covering all aspects of maintaining and managing Dutch Barn’s very own beehives.

Topics include bee biology, beekeeping equipment, why and when to inspect bees, how to tell the colony is building well and swarm control. A commitment is required to become a Volunteer Bee Guardian of Dutch Farm bees after the course

Beekeeping suits will be provided for the sessions, but please bring your own wellies and rubber gloves!

Open to anyone 18 or over living in Liverpool, and experiencing depression, anxiety or other forms of emotional distress. To attend the course we ask you to become a member of PSS Wellbeing Centres by completing a 1-1 Wellbeing Plan with one of the team.

To refer yourself please contact wellbeingcentres@pss.org.uk or phone 0151 708-0415. If you're already a member please sign up with one of the team on your next visit.
