Poetry

Hello! And big thanks to Gillian and John for sending in this week's poems on the theme of 'wild'. They led me to thinking about characters so I've included a poem written by the folks who used to come to the poetry session at the Brolly before the lockdown and I hope they won't mind me revisiting it here. It's a lovely piece called My Name is Annie.

So the theme for the coming week is characters. You could write about someone you know, have known or someone imagined like the Brolly poets. As a further bit of inspiration, here's one of Maya Angelou's wonderful poems, Uncle Willie.

Please send your poems on the theme or any you'd like to share to: psswellbeingcentres@gmail.com

Happy writing.

A lovely mixed selection for you this week and my thanks to Gillian, Adele and John for this week's poems.

The theme for the coming week is Love. Is it love lost, love found, love betrayed, lovelorn? However you'd like to interpret it we'd love to read it.

Please send your poems on the theme or any you'd like to share to: psswellbeingcentres@gmail.com

Happy writing!

We have poems about love and pride and with lots of humour included this week. Big thanks to John, Gillian, Gail and Adele for sending them in.

This weeks theme is hope. What does having hope mean to you? Do you feel hopeful now the lockdown is easing?

Please send your poems on this theme or any you'd like to share to: psswellbeingcentres@gmail.com

Happy writing and have a good week.
