Think You Can't Draw? Something to Try

Hello!

This week...you guessed it, we drew some cats. And as with anything, if you start with a simple shape it feels much easier.

And we looked at different shaped features and how you can make different characters by changing size and shape and the distance between the features.

Then we drew a very simple shaped cat - it's almost a rectangle with a few added shapes.

Then we tried different body shapes.

And look how easy it to suggest a cat.

Try copying the drawings above and allow yourself to make wonky cats and to take a few goes to get to something you like the look of.
