Our Culture Vulture Trip to New Brighton
On Wednesday we had a fab trip to the New Brighton Heritage Centre. After looking round the beautiful church and learning about it history we sat and watched a film about New Brighton in its heyday. We also looked at the display featuring New Brighton through the years. A fascinating insight into the history and changes New Brighton has gone through.
We were then treated to tea and coffee in the lovely cafe where we also given toast made from homemade bread and homemade preserves. They were so welcoming and said if anyone wants to visit they would be more than welcome.
The cafe opens every Wednesday from 10.00 to 11.30 and the heritage centre from 11.00 to 1.00 pm. No payment but if you wish to leave a small donation they would be really grateful.
We all said we would definitely be going back!
