The Dutch Barn has been serving up some special events this July!
Bee Inspired
Bee biology is truly magnificent, from how they select a Queen to how they know when it’s time to move home learning about our bees is fascinating!
Which is why our Bee Inspired course – which teaches participants all aspects of maintaining and managing Dutch Barn’s very own beehives – is always a well appreciated and attended course.
Suited up, participants can witness first-hand when and how to attend to our bees and even how to extract their delicious honey from the hives.
This course puts all attendees in good stead to become our next set of Bee Guardians, a commitment and duty which provides crucial care for our winged residents.
Pizza Party
Our Pizza Party on the 14th July, saw attendees customising their very own pizzas freshly baked from our pizza oven.
Our homemade, or rather, barn made slices went down a treat, along with sweet treats baked by our incredible volunteers.
Strumbrellas and Sing! Sing! Sing! were also in attendance to provide cheerful entertainment for all.
