Adult Autism Group - Visit to Tate Liverpool

There are also folding stools, magnifiers and coloured overlays to borrow. Tate Liverpool has a cafe where we can get lunch: https://www.tate.org.uk/visit/tate-liverpool/cafe If you prefer to bring your own food and drink, those who don't want to go to the cafe will find somewhere quiet to sit by the waterfront to eat (weather permitting). Booking is not essential but if you reserve a place via Eventbrite we will know who to look out for. We have a mobile phone which is turned on during outings in case people need to contact us to say they are running late or can not find the group. Within the grounds of the iconic Strawberry Field, we'll be hosting some of the best local crafters. All this alongside our café, gardens and visitor exhibition, is enough for a great day out.


It's free to attend, with the opportunity to make a donation on the day if you'd like.

Designed by Alfred Waterhouse and opened in 1892, our Grade II listed building has been a central part of University life for over a century and the VG&M was opened in May 2008 by HRH The Princess Royal. Get more from your visit to the Victoria Gallery & Museum with a free guided tour. Our friendly and knowledgeable guides will take you through the building giving you a fascinating insight into the history of the Victoria Building and its collections.

Please arrive at the VG&M Welcome Desk ten minutes before tour start time. The health and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors is our highest priority. It is part of the University of Liverpool policy to wear a mask when entering any building on campus, unless you are medically exempt. To protect our guides and other visitors on the tour, please wear a mask if you can and adhere to social distancing.

Ticket time stated is just an arrival time, not an hourly slot. Tickets are non refundable nor transferable. They are only valid for the city and date stated. You can arrive late for your slot but not earlier

We bring 9 tonnes of handpicked vintage stock to our events for you to have a rummage through. Pick & Mix Mens & Womens vintage clothing from the 60s-90s, including all of your favourite branded names!

★STOCK IS REPLENISHED ALL DAY SO OUR RAILS WILL ALWAYS BE FULL AND FRESH, NO MATTER WHAT TIME YOU COME★

★WHAT CAN YOU GET FOR A KILO★

There’s no minimum or maximum spend at our events so you can pick as little or as much as you want. We've got some great examples on our page. 50g will cost a quid

★HEAVY ITEMS★

Things like coats are capped at £20. If you find any item weighing 1 kilo or more you will only pay a maximum of £20 for that item. Please point out heavy items at the till to redeem your discount or goods will be weighed at £20 per kilo.

★PAYMENT★

Once you've bagged your vintage haul, head over to our weighing stations where our friendly team will tell you what you've spent. Cash and Card accepted

About this Event ADULTS ONLY Sponsored by Cycling UK we can offer FREE ebike rides of the City Centre so you can learn more about Liverpool.


Please arrive 15 minutes before the ride starts so you can try the bike before the ride starts at 2pm.


These rides are limited to a maximum of 10 people per ride and the ride start and ends from our base behind Black Lodge Brewery at the end of Kings Dock Street, L18JU.

Please be aware that by signing up for the ride you are agreeing for us to pass on your name & email to Cycling UK as part of their data collection for monitoring events.

You can come on as many rides as you like and if you don't feel confident riding at first please get in touch for some safe FREE lessons. Tickets for Social Ride on Ebikes 2pm - 3.30pm can be booked here:


 

Basic Bicycle Maintenance Course - FREE, up to 2 hours


About this Event Come and learn the basics of how to look after and maintain your bicycle for free! Please note that by coming on the course you are giving permission for me to pass on your name and email details on to Cycling UK for data collection purposes and to encourage more FREE events like this to happen. Please note the course starts promptly at 4pm.
